My daughter qualified for a fast track HVAC program

My daughter Jess graduated from high school, and she did really well in her class.

She attended a career tech school, which gets the students ready for college as well as the workforce. She enjoyed her school because it gave her a path on which she can focus and develop her career. Ever since she was a kid, Jess has always loved working with her hands fixing things around the house. In fact, a couple years ago, she single-handedly fixed our broken garbage disposal. It’s no surprise that Jess is that way as she gets it from her dad who she’s really close to. Anyway, Jess of course, didn’t want to go to a conventional college. Instead, she found a school with a fast track program for HVAC technicians. Yes, my daughter wants to become an HVAC tech and I couldn’t be prouder of her. And she got accepted to the winter fast track HVAC program at Bevill State Community College. The college is only about 30 miles from our home in Birmingham Alabama. So, the good news is, she can live at home and commute to school every day or as needed. Deep down, I am glad that Jess chose a school that is close to the house because I wasn’t ready for her to pack up and go away to college. Therefore, this is the ideal situation for me. Anyway, the program will teach the technical skills needed to become an HVAC technician. And I love that Jess chose this as her career path because it’s not many women who work in the HVAC industry. So, she will be an example for other women who are considering a career in HVAC but are hesitant to move forward. I couldn’t be prouder.
