My fiance and I talked about retirement for multiple years, and i absolutely did not want to supply up my business, because I did not have anyone in the family to take over.
- I knew that retirement would mean closing down the repair supplier that I worked hard to build, and at 65 years old, I wasn’t ready to supply up my business, however my fiance was adamant that my pal and I needed to change our lifestyle.
I agreed that there were some things my pal and I could do differently! We looked into some property in a town called The Villages; The Villages is in Central FL and it is a popular retirement community for active senior citizens in the area. The Villages sounded like a fantastic site to transport my business. I thought that my fiance and I could retire to the town and I could still continue to work from time to time. My fiance thought it was a wonderful idea. She agreed to support the transport and she also agreed to advertise our services in the Ocala newspaper; Ocala is just outside of The Villages and practically part of the community. I work strictly in The Villages only. I usually work three or four afternoons a week. I offer a variety of repair and upgrade services in The Villages and daily repair plans. So far things have gone absolutely well and the transport has been relaxing. I still get to work from time to time but I can play golf every day of the week if I stop answering the iPhone.
