Their legs are as tall as, or maybe even taller than anybody, just the legs! The prehensile tongue of the giraffe permits it to swoop its tongue around a branch as well as just strip the leaves off the branch in a single fell swoop. At the zoo, I was able to learn that giraffes have a heart that weighs approximately 25 pounds – about three times the size of our child when she was born! Everything is gigantic on a giraffe, I suppose. Even though it is legal to utilize cannabis recreationally in Denver, nothing will get you quite as high as feeding the giraffes at the Denver Zoo.
