High velocity A/C for an older home

When I bought my apartment in Fort Worth, TX it didn’t occur to me until too late that there was no air duct, then it was an older cabin & two stories.

I have no idea if the previous person survived the TX summers separate from a good a/c.

I didn’t see anything when I moved in! They must have window units in every room! Not only is that a big energy drain but it is ugly, can you imagine? So I have started shopping around for A/C possibilities in Fort Worth & realized the lack of air duct puts me in a tomato. I thought my only possibilities were ductless mini splits in every room of the house. I hated the look of those bulky indoor air handlers. They take up wall space & also look too commercial in my opinion. Thankfully I did some research & found that high velocity cooling systems use half the size of air duct & they are flexible. The flexible material can fit into the slats of an older cabin separate from the invasive air duct replacement requirements. It also can suddenly whip the air around to lower the temperature in minutes rather than hours. I had to google & ask around before finding a Fort Worth cooling corporation that could do high velocity replacement. It was worth paying a long distance fee & having it all completed. Now I have a powerful cooling system that can handle two stories of living separate from having any sort of device or wiring. It has saved me so much space.
