My wife and I recently moved to Tuscaloosa, AL because it was better for her job, then my good friend and I obtained a house that was cheap however with good bones, and while she has been working her butt off at the office, I have been trying to get the condo nice… I started with the walls and ceilings.
I got the popcorn removed, sanded, and repainted.
I then painted all the dining rooms, next I washed all the floors and scrubbed the rugs, but baseboards were wiped, appliances were cleaned, and I even did some heavy duty bathroom scrubbing. I only hired professionals for necessary jobs. I had a plumber come in to add a garbage disposal, service a leak, and assess the septic system. I then got a Heating and Air Conditioning specialist to do the work. I had the ductwork cleaned, the air conditioner diagnosed, and the boiler repaired; Everything was all cleaned, oiled, tightened, and diagnosed for disfigurement. Thankfully the Heating and Air Conditioning didn’t have anything wrong with it. Having it cleaned provided peace of mind. The Heating and Air Conditioning corporation in Tuscaloosa told me that my component was around 15 years old… So I know it is getting up there. I plan to start saving money for potentially sizable investments down the road. I think a modern Heating and Air Conditioning unit, water heater, and roof are on the horizon. My good friend and I might get a few solid years of living in the condo before that happens but. I am blissful that I already found a loyal Tuscaloosa Heating and Air Conditioning dealer, plumber, and I do have a number for an electrician. Knowing the servicemen of the town is necessary when you move.
