My partner & I recently moved to Tuscaloosa, AL because it was better for his task, and my associate and I obtained a home that was cheap but with superb bones, however while he has been working his butt off at the office, I have been trying to get the house nice, but i started with the walls & ceilings.
I got the popcorn removed, sanded, & repainted.
I then painted all the living rooms; Next I washed all the floors & scrubbed the carpets… Baseboards were wiped, appliances were cleaned, & I even did some heavy duty bathroom scrubbing. I only hired professionals for necessary tasks. I had a plumber come in to add a garbage disposal, fix a leak, & assess the septic system. I then got a Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional to do the work. I had the air duct cleaned, the air conditioner tested, & the boiler repaired, and everything was all cleaned, oiled, tightened, & checked for harm, thankfully the Heating, Ventilation & A/C didn’t have anything wrong with it, then having it cleaned offered peace of mind. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation in Tuscaloosa told me that my unit was around 15 years old, then so I know it is getting up there. I plan to start saving money for potentially sizable investments down the road. I feel a current Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit, water heater, & roof are on the horizon. My associate and I might get a few solid years of living in the house before that happens however. I am cheerful that I already found a loyal Tuscaloosa Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, plumber, & I do have a number for an electrician! Knowing the servicemen of the neighborhood is necessary when you move.
